2-13-09 Congratulations to the following 7th and 8th grade students who qualified for the Spelling Bee: Eric Farden, Nic Rowe, Hope Schlicksup, Chase Humes, Sarah Jones, Augustus Keime, and Carmen Luthy!!! They will compete in the district Bee on February 18th.
7th grade English: This month 7th grade began a writing unit. The unit will last a few weeks and will help the students to better develop their writing skills.
8th grade English: Eighth graders are working on Persuasive writing.
7th grade Language Arts: Students are reading The Westing Game.
8th grade Language Arts: Students will be starting the Greek and Latin Root word unit.
Parents, tutoring is available in the library every Wednesday from after school until 8:00 P.M. The tutoring is provided not only for students, but for the community as well. This is a wonderful resource for your students to use during Science Fair!
