Hopefully in todays world we have all gotten a little smarter than the flintstones when it comes to saftey! Wearing your seatbelt can save your life. Not to mention not speeding, driveing reckless, tired, altered by substances, road raged, or driving distracted! Jessica pictured below is only one person who survived a wreck in an automobile by wearing her seatbelt.

 

 

 

Driver Education Policies and Procedures

Classroom Phase- one of the most important classes of your life (mine to!)

Attendance: State Law stipulates you must be in the classroom for a minimum of thirty clock hours, and a nine week period, with the eight block scheduling situation driver education class will typically go one to two weeks longer to meet the full clock hours commitment. Therefore, attendance is a must! If you are going to miss it is your responsibility to come in and get the assignment that you missed. You will only have two days or the next class period to make up your missed work. *All students are only allowed two days to miss driver education during the classroom period with no make up days. Failure to meet state requirements will eliminate the student from passing this class.

Expectations: Every student must bring the appropriate textbook to class. A pencil and paper is needed for taking notes each day in class. Attendance in the classroom is a must. All students will need to put and organize all materials in their driver education folder to be brought in daily. The students will be required
