Stop And Thinks
Stop and Thinks are red tickets students
receive when they are not being safe, responsible, or respectful. The student's
name, teacher giving it, and date are at
the top. Then a recording of the behavior
or how the student could make a better choice is below. A parent signature line is at the bottom. These tickets are meant to be communication between home and school. They are effective when parents and teachers are working together to help guide student behavior.
Social Intervention Referral Form (SIRF, formerly ODR's)
Students can receive a SIRF one of two ways.
In or Out of School Suspension
In School Suspensions are given for major problem behavior or repeated minor problem behavior where intervention was not effective.
Out of School Suspensions are given for the most extreme major problem behaviors. They are given only with extreme circumstances.
