Five students from Mrs. Postin's English III class (Emma Utsinger, Jaython Jones, Dayzi Barker, Graci Scharping, Abigail Corsaw) recently entered the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1984 in Canton, Illinois. Each participant earned $25 for entering the contest. Utsinger was chosen as the local winner, received $50 and advanced to the district level where she earned Honorable Mention honors. Congratulations!
