The Cuba High School staff has selected Leah Scharping as the April Senior of the Month. For this honor, she received a fifty-dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Scharping is the daughter of Tara Haynes of Canton, Illinois, and Scott Scharping of Cuba, Illinois. While in high school, she has been involved in drama club and FFA. After high school, she plans to attend Spoon River College before transferring to Western Illinois University.
