The Cuba High School staff has selected Elizabeth Markley as the February Senior of the Month. For this honor, she received a fifty dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Markley is the daughter of John and Charlene Markley of Smithfield, Illinois. While in high school, she has been a member of FCCLA, FFA, Peer Assistance, Student Council, yearbook, National Honor Society, Art Club, Drama Club, Scholastic Bowl, cheerleading, archery, and has been a football manager. While doing all of this, she has also served as a member of the Cass-Putman Rescue Squad. After high school, she plans to attend college and eventually become an attorney.
