This week, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released its new 2026 Profiles of Performance! Instead of relying on a single score, Illinois now looks at a complete picture of school performance—including academic growth, proficiency, graduation rates, attendance, and school climate.
Here is how our CUSD #3 schools performed under the state’s new framework:
Cuba Senior High School: Exemplary — Recognizing performance in the highest state tier!
Cuba Elementary School: Approaching Exemplary — Demonstrating strong overall performance and growth!
Cuba Middle School: Developing — Identifying clear opportunities to focus our energy and resources on student growth.
