The Cuba High School staff has selected Griffin Brooks as the December Senior of the Month. For this honor, he received a fifty-dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Brooks is the son of Terry and Maggie Brooks of Cuba, Illinois. While in high school, he has been a member of FFA and the basketball team. After high school, he plans to attend either Spoon River College or Western Illinois University to study business. After college, he plans to work on the family farm.
Seniors of the Month are selected for their academic performance as well as their leadership and citizenship qualities.
