The Cuba High School staff has selected Ashley Howerter as the April Senior of the Month. For this honor, she received a fifty-dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Howerter is the daughter of John and Niki Howerter of Smithfield, Illinois. While in high school, she has been involved in FFA, Art Club, Peer Assistance, National Honor Society, volleyball, her church’s youth group, Spoon River Rascals, and band. After high school, she plans to attend the University of Illinois to major in broadcast journalism.
