The Cuba High School staff has selected Jacob Yaste as the November Senior of the Month. For this honor, he received a fifty-dollar gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Yaste is the son of Michelle Daly of Cuba, Illinois, and Eric Yaste of Smithfield, Illinois. While in high school, he has been involved in FFA, National Honor Society, archery, and bass fishing. He also placed first in the 2022 Illinois 4H State Trap Shooting tournament. After high school, he plans to attend Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville majoring in business management and hopes to become an electrician in the future.
