Winter Break for NFW athletics
Good morning,
Today is Friday, December 19th. Road conditions are much better than expected this morning. While it remains cold and windy, with a handful of slick spots, all buses will run their regular routes today.
We would like to thank the Road Commissioners and their crews for their continued efforts to keep our roads safe as well as our Transportation Department and Bus Drivers as they transport our students to and from school safely.
Please make sure your student is dressed for the wind and low temps, especially if they will be waiting outside for the bus. As a reminder, today is a 2:00 p.m. dismissal day.

Cuba Fire Department members Steve Howerter, Donnie Eskridge and Garrett Ginglen, along with Fulton County Sheriff's Office dispatcher Keith Wojtkiewicz, shared valuable information with students, families, and community members, covering important fire safety practices, prevention strategies, and emergency preparedness tips. Their time, expertise, and commitment to educating our community will help keep everyone safer. We truly appreciate the Cuba Fire Department’s continued partnership and dedication to serving and protecting our school district and community.
