The line-up starts at 12:30 - 2:00. This year we are not giving parade participants a number, it will be line-up as you arrive. Also, with the Soldier & Sailors Reunion happening around the square, the parade route has been altered. It will leave the elementary lot, go down East Main Street, turn right on 2nd Street, right on Washington Street and end back at the elementary lot.

Thank you to our amazing National Honor Society and Cuba Community Volunteers. On Friday, our dedicated volunteers helped prepare and distribute Buddy Bags for Cuba Elementary students. These bags provide extra meals/snacks for the weekend for our students who qualify. We are so grateful as this program wouldn’t be possible without the time and care of our volunteers! Thanks to National Honor Society Members Abriana Wells, Kalee Foster, Macy Eeten, Myleigh Strode, and Halee Krieger as well as to Cuba Community Members Monty & Marlynna McLaughry, Mark & Joellen Welch, Arlene Ford, Drema Parsons, and Sue McCance for putting together the bags this past Friday. The Buddy Bags Program is organized and coordinated by Carol Severt and funded through a grant and local donations. #WINTHEDAY #MAKETODAYCOUNT #BUDDYBAGS

During each academic year, schools must conduct emergency drills. I wanted to make you aware that both CMHS and CES conducted our first fire drills of the school year earlier this morning. Our students and staff did an excellent job responding quickly, while following proper procedures to ensure everyone’s safety. These practice drills are an important part of keeping our schools prepared and safe. As we look ahead, we will also be holding an intruder drill on Monday, September 30th. As with our fire drills, this will be a practice exercise only and will be conducted in an age-appropriate and supportive manner for our students. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep our schools safe and prepared. #WINTHEDAY #MAKETODAYCOUNT
