Attention Cuba School District Families,
There has been some confusion about meal delivery during this period of remote learning. All town students will pick up their meals (if ordered) at the elementary school. Meals will only be delivered to bus route students.
Any High School Student interested in High School Scholastic Bowl please contact Mrs. Thompson-Vass at jvass@cusd3.net by Holiday Break! The season will be here before we know it!
Tomorrow is our first remote learning day. Our remote learning schedule is the same as our blended schedule. Lunch/breakfast will be ordered through the teachers before 8:45 daily. Meals will be delivered mid-day. Be on time and prepared to learn everyday! Check our website for updates and resources. www.cusd3.net

Congratulations to Joe Taylor, the recipient of Cuba Middle-Senior High School’s Golden Apple Award for the month of October. This year, Joe has made many adjustments to his science classes to meet distancing guidelines and overcome remote learning obstacles. He has continued to provide unique experiences for his students by creating or finding virtual/digital ways of doing science labs while working under physical restrictions. In addition to his work with students, Joe has always been willing and often volunteered to assist his colleagues with the use of technology or new software in their classrooms. He has provided professional development sessions on school improvement days and volunteered to assist with cleaning and disinfecting the building after school hours when we were without a regular custodial staff. Thank you for being a proactive and forward thinking teacher and colleague.

Please read the following communication from Cuba Schools regarding health and safety. Click here: https://5il.co/mtyk
Congratulations to Aaron for being Mrs. Eddington's November English Student of the Month! Aaron is a 10th grader who works hard in class and is always asking what he can do better on assignments. He is always eager to give his input on classroom discussions. Aaron brings a unique perspective to the classroom, he always thinks outside of the box. When Aaron is done with his assignments, he often helps others.

JH Cheer tryouts for 7th & 8th graders will be 5-7pm on Wed and 6-8pm on Fri at Cuba HS.
